House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) eats chocolate ice cream every day.

Rep. Ric Keller (R-Fla.): “Ironically, I eat cottage cheese. You never see a thin guy eating cottage cheese.”

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.): “It’s hard to imagine, with her figure.” What does he eat daily? “Every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year I drink a smoothie every morning.” The ingredients: “Whey powder, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, milk, honey and flax seed. It’s very good for you.”

Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio): “I have a cup of tea. I’m a black-tea drinker, but light-black, and I drink it out of porcelain china teacups. I have teacups from all over the world. In Ohio I drink out of special Russian teacups. They’re so beautiful. At home here [it’s] English bone china. In the office I use special cups that are Anchor Hocking.”

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.): “I usually have a salad for lunch and I try to watch my caloric intake.”

Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.):
“My own coffee that I grind every morning. Actually the night before so it’s ready for the morning.”

Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio): “I’m pretty good with cottage cheese and fruit every morning. I eat pasta a lot. It’s the Italian in me.”

Resident Commissioner Luis Fortuño (R-Puerto Rico):
“I don’t like chocolate ice cream. I only eat vanilla. I eat salad every day, regular green salad.”

Rep. Adam Putnam (R-Fla.): “Beef, almost every day. Every day would be orange juice.” Florida orange juice? “Of course.”

Rep. Zack Space (D-Ohio):
“Nearly every day, a slice of Armand’s pizza.”

Rep. Mike Simpson (R-Idaho): “Anything that starts with potato. I support my economy. I usually try to eat a potato chip or a French fry.”
