{mosads}Lummis said in a statement that she missed a few votes this week to be with her mother in her final hours.
“I am tremendously grateful to the people of Wyoming for allowing me to be with her and to say goodbye,” she said. “I carry with me so many lessons my mother taught me; chief among them is the quiet grit she displayed in the face of pain and adversity. We are blessed that through God’s love and grace. She is now at home in heaven.”
