Job Moves
Changes in Cochran’s D.C. office: Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) announced two staff changes in his Washington office last week.
P.J. Waldrop has been promoted to legislative assistant for agriculture and water infrastructure development issues. Waldrop has worked for Cochran since January 2007 as a legislative aide.
Also, Sara Peters will serve as legislative counsel. A Mississippi native, Peters was an associate at King and Spalding in Washington, where she was a part of the firm’s tort and environmental litigation group.
{mosads}Liberty Square Group announces new senior vice president: The Liberty Square Group announced the addition of Dr. David Driscoll as its new senior vice president for government relations and education initiatives. Driscoll brings over 45 years of experience in education policy to the organization.
Before joining Liberty Square Group, Dr. Driscoll served as the 22nd commissioner of education for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was also a secondary-school math teacher.
