Elton John performs at Limbaugh’s wedding

Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh was married in Palm Beach, Fla. this weekend, but the entertainment was anything but conservative.

According to media reports, Limbaugh paid Sir Elton John $1 million to perform at the reception, where guests danced until the early hours of Sunday morning. John is openly gay and a strong proponent of same-sex marriage rights (he held a lavish partnership ceremony with longtime partner David Furnish in 1995).

{mosads}Limbaugh, 59, who opposes gay marriage, wed Kathryn Rogers, 33, a Florida-based event planner, at The Breakers Hotel.

Guests included Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, former White House adviser Karl Rove, former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-Tenn.), Fox News commentator Sean Hannity, former New York City Mayor Rudy

Giuliani and political strategists James Carville and Mary Matalin.
The happy couple will honeymoon in Mexico and Africa.
