Russell Simmons makes the rounds on Capitol Hill

Russell Simmons is in the House. Literally.

Hip-hop mogul Simmons was spotted visiting members’ offices Wednesday on Capitol Hill. Simmons met with Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) for half an hour before moving on. 

{mosads}Although it’s unclear what, specifically, Simmons is lobbying for, his charity, Fashion Delivers, donated heavily to post-Hurricane Katrina relief in New Orleans.
