Obama and Barbour reach consensus: Lemon-lime
There may not be much that President Barack Obama and Mississippi Gov.
Haley Barbour (R) agree on, but on Monday the pair agreed on at least
one sticky issue: Sno-cones.
{mosads}The president and the Republican Governors Association chairman are both lemon-lime guys, as they revealed during a stroll down Combs Pier, in Gulfport, Miss., during Obama’s daylong visit.
Barbour, who is considering challenging the president in 2012, told reporters, “See, that’s something else we agree on.”
During a lunch before the pier walk, the president and the governor both emphasized the need to work with local business owners to mitigate damage from the Gulf oil spill.
