Bristol Palin gets her own TV show
We know Bristol Palin can dance with stars, but can she carry a reality show?
Executives at the BIO channel are betting that she can.
{mosads}News broke Monday that Bristol Palin will star in an as-yet-untitled reality show centered around her move from Wasilla, Alaska, to Los Angeles, where the single mother of 2-year-old Tripp Palin will work at a charity.
According to a release, Palin is “the most famous single mother in America,” a title due in no small part to her own mother, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s (R), 2008 vice presidential campaign.
Since then, Bristol Palin has been an outspoken advocate of premarital abstinence, even teaming up with MTV “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino for a public-service announcement in 2010. The video quickly became a YouTube sensation.
Joining Bristol on screen in the new venture will be actor Kyle Massey, a former co-competitor on “Dancing With the Stars,” and his brother Chris Massey. Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin reportedly became fast friends during the filming of the dance show last year.
The news will likely put to rest speculation that Sarah Palin’s eldest daughter would be moving to Maricopa, Ariz., where records show she purchased a house in late 2010.
Look for Bristol Palin’s new adventure to air late this year.
