Salahis asked wedding guests to pay up

The wedding week program was printed in the wedding program, and included equine adventures, special dinners and yacht trips. “We had to pay for all of those, separately,” said a guest, who spoke to ITK on the condition of anonymity.

“Once we replied, we got all the prices in an e-mail,” said the guest, “and you didn’t want to back out because of cost, after you’d said yes, but we were shocked. We’d never seen that before.”

Of course, weddings are expensive — and weeklong weddings are rare and much more expensive.

The Salahis did not respond to a request for comment.
