(KTLA) – In honor of National Pancake Day, IHOP will give out a free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating restaurants.
The limited-time promotion will only be available to dine-in customers.
This year, IHOP will celebrate National Pancake Day together with its new Stacking Up Joy program, a brand-wide initiative to help reduce food insecurity. As part of the program, IHOP is partnering with Feeding America for a “Month of Giving,” during which guests are invited to add $1, $2, $3 or more to their checks, in the restaurant or when ordering online.
“For every $1 donated to the campaign during the entire month of February, ten meals will be provided to people facing hunger,” a news release said.
“Our purpose of spreading more joy to more guests in our communities is why establishing a program like Stacking Up Joy is a natural fit for us, as we support families facing hunger around the country,” Kieran Donahue, chief marketing officer at IHOP, said in a statement.
The company also teamed up with actress Xochitl Gomez to help spread awareness of IHOP’s Month of Giving and National Pancake Day.
“I am excited to work with IHOP this month for their Month of Giving campaign and in celebration of the best day of the year, National Pancake Day,” Gomez said in a statement.
IHOP’s plans for Pancake Day on Feb. 13, 2024, mark the chain’s 18th annual celebration of the observance.
