The self-portrait was auctioned by Julien’s Auctions for $281,250.
This isn’t the first of the famous frontman’s possessions to have been auctioned off. In 2019, the sweater Cobain wore in his final photoshoot sold for $75,000 and the guitar he played on “MTV Unplugged” sold for $6 million.
