During its 20 seasons on the air, “Law and Order” was nominated for 50 Emmy awards and spawned fan-favorite spinoffs, such as “Law and Order: SVU” and “Law and Order: Criminal Intent.” “Law and Order” ended its series run 11 years ago in 2010.

“Season 21 will continue where the show left off in 2010, with the classic format that explores two separate, yet equally important groups,” Wolf Entertainment said, “‘the police who investigate crimes and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders.’”

An official premiere date hasn’t been announced at this time.
