Britney Spears is taking aim at her family days after her father was suspended from his role in her conservatorship.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge last week suspended the pop star’s father, Jamie Spears, from the conservatorship that has controlled her finances and decisions for 13 years, an arrangement Britney Spears claimed was “abusive.”

In an Instagram post Tuesday, Britney Spears shared a photo of a woman swimming over another woman who appeared to be asleep underwater, along with a caption criticizing her family and the circumstances of her previous conservatorship.

“I suggest if you have a friend that’s been in a house that feels really small for four months…no car…no phone..no door for privacy and they have to work around 10 hours a day 7 days a week and give tons of blood weekly with never a day off…I strongly suggest you go to pick up your friend and get them the hell outta there !!!!” she wrote.

“If you’re like my family who says things like ‘sorry, you’re in a conservatorship’…probably thinking you’re different [from you] so they can f—k with you!!!!” she added.

In court several months back, the singer revealed in her testimony that she was forced into a mental health facility, made to take lithium and ad have an IUD implanted while under the conservatorship, according to Page Six

Britney Spears took the opportunity to thank her attorney Mathew S. Rosengart, “who has helped change my life !!!!”

When Britney Spears spoke to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny in June, she told the judge she felt as if family did “not do a goddamn thing.”

Mother Lynne Spears has voiced support for her daughter’s freedom from the conservatorship since 2019 — a time the #FreeBritney movement was gaining momentum.

Older brother Bryan Spears, 44, sided with his father’s conservatorship, saying it was a “great thing” for his family in a July 2020 podcast interview.

He was silent when news broke that his father’s control was suspended

Former Nickelodeon star and Britney Spears’ kid sister Jamie Lynn Spears, according to Page Six, has been loyal to her big sister Britney in a series of Instagram Story videos in late June.

“If ending the conservatorship… or whatever the hell else she wants to do to be happy, I support that,” she said at the time after facing backlash for staying silent on the matter.
