Two former Washington Football Team employees went to an NFL meeting for owners in Manhattan this week to deliver a letter calling on the league to release the full investigation into the WFT workplace culture.
Melanie Coburn, a former cheerleader and marketing director, and Ana Nunez, who worked in sales, pressed the league to release the full report on the team, which they say has a “sexist and misogynistic culture,” according to The New York Times.

“We’ve had no comments since the investigation was wrapped up in July,” Coburn said, The New York Post reports. “There has been no outreach from the NFL to our attorneys.”
The WFT received a $10 million fine after the investigation.
This month, resurfaced emails from former Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden reopened the scandal of former executive Dennis Greene selling access to a topless Washington Football Team cheerleader photoshoot in 2018. The photoshoot was part of a suite package for wealthy patrons, and the cheerleaders were instructed to act as personal escorts.
Although cheerleaders have called on the league to make the investigation public, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says the league decided to keep the findings private since those who came forward were promised security and anonymity, The NY Post reported.
“We need to stand by that,” he said.
The meeting itself was the NFL’s first in-person meetings with team owners in over 600 days since the pandemic, according to CNBC.
Goodell, who said the league received 600,000 emails relating to the probe, said Snyder was held accountable for his actions.
“I do think [Snyder] has been held accountable for it,” Goodell said, “and the organization has been held accountable.”
