Adele has included an emotional voice note of an exchange between her and her son on her new album “30,” released on Friday.

The third track on the singer’s fourth studio album, “My Little Love,” features audio of the moment Adele explained to her son Angelo, now 9, that she and his father, Simon Konecki, would be getting a divorce.

“Mommy’s been having a lot of big feelings recently. I feel a bit confused,” Adele says, adding, “I feel like I don’t really know what I’m doing.”

“Oh, at all?” Angelo asks.

“At all,” Adele responds.

Much of her highly anticipated record, the first from the British powerhouse since the release of “25” in 2015, revolves around the uneven footings of navigating a divorce from a practical and emotional standpoint.

Later on in the track, Adele says, “I love your dad because he gave you to me. You’re half me and you’re half daddy.”

Adele began dating Konecki in 2011 before getting married in 2018. In April 2019, Adele announced they had separated, and she filed for divorce five months later in September.
