Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers invoked so-called “cancel culture” again, appearing on a popular podcast wearing a hoodie featuring the term with a line through it.
Rodgers donned the gray hoodie during his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” where he previously railed on what he referred to as the “woke mob” amid the fallout over his positive COVID-19 test in November.
“I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now, so before my final nail gets put in my cancel-culture casket, I think I’d like to set the record straight on some of the blatant lies that are out there about myself right now,” Rodgers said at the time.

The reigning MVP sparked controversy after admitting he was unvaccinated despite saying at the beginning of the season that he was “immunized.” Rodgers went on to explain that he is not “some sort of anti-vax flat-earther” but a critical thinker, noting also that he has an allergy to an ingredient in the available mRNA vaccines.
“I believe strongly in bodily autonomy and ability to make choices for your body: Not have to acquiesce to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something,” he continued in November. “Health is not a one-size-fits-all for everybody.”

The NFL has adjusted COVID-19 protocols and rescheduled several games this past week due to a COVID-19 outbreak across the league.
“The one frustration I have is that throughout all of this there hasn’t been any conversation about health,” Rodgers said Tuesday.
“I don’t understand why society and the NFL hasn’t talked about legitimate Covid treatment options,” he added.
