It won’t take you to a galaxy far away, but it can still help you live out your “Star Wars” dreams. Jetpack Aviation’s Speeder, a flying motorcycle, is now taking pre-orders.
First designed and constructed to be used by the military, the Jetpack Aviation Speeder is now being designed in two styles for recreational use.

The first style is the Ultralight version (UVS), which will not require a pilot license and owners will be offered training to ride it through Jetpack Aviation or an authorized training center. The UVS will be able to hold 5 gallons of fuel and reach 60 mph.
The second style is the Experimental Category version (EVS), which does require a pilot license as it has no speed limiter and can reach up to 150 mph. The EVS utilizes autonomous stabilization making it easier for the pilot to fly it with minimal effort.
The recreational Speeders are expected to be available in 2023 and cost approximately $380,000, depending on the style of Speeder.
