Former President Trump’s $15 billion border wall has been devastated by rain and flooding, according to a new report by Gizmodo

Photographs published by the outlet show sections of the wall in Arizona blown open and hanging by its hinges. 

A majority of the damage occurred between Douglas, Ariz., and the San Bernardino Wildlife Refuge. Douglas has experienced record rainfall during what is the area’s monsoon season, already seeing close to double the average monsoon rainfall this season.

This isn’t the first issue involving the multibillion-dollar border wall. In April, The Hill reported that migrants were using $5 ladders to scale the wall in Texas.

President Biden announced in May that he had authorized the parts of the wall to be repaired and reinforced because of the damage and threat of “catastrophic floods.”
