According to a report by The Sun, two surfers were on their boards in the waters off of Middles Beach, Isabela, when a massive shark appeared and onlooker Jorge Benitez began filming his friends from the beach.

As the surfers began to frantically paddle toward shore, the shark briefly followed them, its large dorsal fin exposed above the water.
“This is the first shark I see,” Benitez told The Sun. “Although it’s known they are around the areas, but apparently they have enough food so we barely have incidents if any.”
Both surfers were able to escape without injury.
