According to a report by The Washington Post, much of the Lower 48 will be experiencing an unseasonably warm holiday, with some areas reaching temperatures almost 30 degrees higher than normal.

Denver is expected to hit 62 degrees on Wednesday heading into Christmas. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City will reach a high of 78 degrees on Christmas Eve.
Over on the East Coast, although current temperatures reported on the colder side Tuesday, with Washington, D.C, hitting 45 degrees and New York City at 44 degrees, it isn’t expected to stay. On Christmas Day, the two cities will reach 63 degrees and 50 degrees, respectively.
