At least four people have been injured following a suspected gas explosion at a Georgia apartment complex on Sunday.

While the cause of the explosion is still under investigation, residents reported smelling strong gas odors just prior to the explosion. Investigating authorities who arrived at the complex before the blast also reported smelling gas and attempted to evacuate residents, according to WSB-TV.
DeKalb County Fire Rescue Captain Jaeson Daniels reported that four people were hospitalized from the explosion, though their injuries were minor. Initially two people were unaccounted for, but they were eventually located and were safe.
