In an alleged failed attempt to troll bicyclists, a young driver of a pickup truck ran over half a dozen bikers.

The teen, apprehended by the authorities, was said to be more concerned about whether or not he would serve jail time than the lives he allegedly endangered.
“Do you think I’m going to jail?,” the teen truck driver said, reported The Houston Chronicle. A witness and surviving cyclist by the name of Chase Ferrell turned to the teen and bluntly said, ”Yeah, you did something really freaking stupid. You should go to jail.”
Ferrell recalls the death-defying moment, telling Fox 26, “I thought someone was dead. I heard a lot of crunching. I heard brakes. Tires screeching. People screaming.”
Waller Police Department, a police force located on the northwest of Houston, told The Houston Chronicle on Tuesday that the driver was not arrested and could not answer if there were charges against him.
The parents of the teen driver arrived on the scene “within minutes.”
“Waller Police Department is continuing their investigation and upon completion, will submit all information and generated reports to the Waller County District Attorney’s Office for review. After examining the facts of the incident, the District Attorney’s Office will determine what criminal charges may be warranted,” the statement read.
