The company said it will continue to follow guidance from public health officials and “encourage people to get vaccinated.”
CDC data shows nearly 250 million COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the U.S., with 32.3 percent of the country fully vaccinated. President Biden announced Tuesday his administration’s goal is to have 70 percent of the eligible population with at least one shot by July 4.
Previous guidelines did not permit anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or greater to enter the park — and anyone with that person was also temporarily barred while temperatures were screened at another location.
Face coverings are still required at the park for any guests 2 and above, according to the company’s webpage.
“You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time,” the site says.
