#Hack4Congress: Help Make Congress Work Better with Tech

Hack4Congress

Everyone knows Congress can work better. Technology will play a crucial role in creating that 21st Century House and Senate, from corresponding with constituents to drafting letters and legislation. But how do you actually do it? How do you actually build that modern, efficient and effective Congress everyone wants?

On April 29-May 1, 2015, #Hack4Congress is your answer. #Hack4Congress-DC is the third in a series of hackathons tackling real problems facing Congress. Software engineers, Congressional staff, designers, and everyday Americans will roll up their sleeves and start solving the frustrating, daily technology issues facing the U.S. House and Senate…and the people who serve there.

Check out the real-world hacking challenges being shared by Members of Congress and staff, from Senator John Thune to Congressman Jared Polis.

The event is free to all, and is open to the public, Members, staff, and press. Questions? Email SayHello@opengovfoundation.org or call +1-760-659-0631
