Infrastructure Modernization: A US-Canada Conversation

Infrastructure modernization is an issue that enjoys bipartisan support across the United States and momentum was building within the new administration and Congress to take on this task.

As American leaders turn their attention to infrastructure issues, what lessons can we draw from the experiences of Canada, our neighbor to the north and key trading partner? Can the two allied economies continue to collaborate closely and what challenges will they likely confront?

How can the federal government and private industry work together to transform North America’s aging infrastructure? The Hill convened key officials from the United States and Canada, infrastructure experts, and industry leaders for a policy briefing on infrastructure reform and finding solutions that will work for all communities.
