The Future of Modern Expeditionary Warfare

Great power competitors such as China and Russia have increased their military capabilities over the past 20 years, impacting how the U.S. military procures, builds, and deploys critical readiness components.

In 2018, the U.S. National Defense Strategy, aiming to restore its competitive edge, required streamlined contracting and purchasing processes backed by a secure supply chain. As technology advances rapidly, how are 21st-century Navy and Marine Corps teams preparing for future threats and crisis response operations?
