Gen Z’s American Dream: Civic Engagement

This November, 16 million young Americans will be able to vote in their very first presidential election. Baby Boomers still hold the greatest political clout, but Gen Z – which is often at ideological odds with its elders – could be a deciding factor come Election Day.

So, what does Gen Z care about? What does democracy in action look like for a generation of young voters who are most comfortable engaging via social media? And what is Gen Z’s definition of the American Dream, and is it within reach?

Join The HiIl and A Starting Point, along with co-founders Chris Evans and Mark Kassen, at the BridgeUSA National Summit in Chicago for a conversation unlocking the mindset of Gen Z to get a fresh perspective on what these future leaders want to build. We’ll explore the current state of civic engagement and education.
