Hill.TV host Krystal Ball on Tuesday declared the millions of small dollar donations received by the campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders his strongest asset.
Ball pointed to the recent news that Nevada’s Culinary Workers Union stopped ahead of doing the “one thing that actually could have blunted Bernie’s momentum in the state, making an endorsement.” Ball noted that when union leadership began circulating anti-“Medicare for all” talking point Sanders supports within the union members began circulating their own petition supporting Sanders’ proposal.
Ball added “any one of these politicians would die to have a movement of passionate engaged supporters behind them.”
