Nina Turner defends Sanders efforts to win over black voters

Former national co-chair for Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) presidential campaign Nina Turner defended Sanders’ efforts to win black voters in an interview Thursday with The Hill.TV’s “Rising.” 

Turner said that just because the campaign didn’t get the electoral outcome does not indicate that the Sanders “movement” didn’t make inroads with the African American community.
