Journalist Zaid Jilani discussed the allegations surrounding Holyoke, Mass., Mayor Alex Morse (D), a congressional candidate, during an interview Monday with The Hill.TV’s “Rising.”
The University of Massachusetts said it would be launching an investigation into reported allegations that Morse had sexual relationships with students while teaching at UMass-Amherst.
Morse said Sunday he will remain in his congressional primary race against Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.) despite the investigation and denied ever using his position of power as mayor or a lecturer for “romantic or sexual gain, or to take advantage of students.”
