Briahna Joy Gray: Pentagon’s reported plans for monitoring personnel’s social media is ‘warrantless surveillance’

Briahna Joy Gray, former national press secretary for Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) 2020 presidential campaign, expressed concern Wednesday at reports, vehemently denied by the Pentagon, that it plans to launch a new pilot program for screening military members’ social media for extremist content.

Gray said doing so would be “warrantless surveillance” in an interview on Hill.TV’s “Rising.”
