A majority of suburban voters disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.
Fifty-nine percent of registered suburban voters in the Aug. 8-11 survey said they disapprove of President Trump’s job overall, while 41 percent said they approve.
Voters among this group are split on the president’s handling of on the economy and stimulating jobs, with 49 percent and 50 percent approving, respectively.
Trump receives 38 percent support and 62 percent disapproval among this demographic when it comes to handling the coronavirus pandemic.
The RealClear Politics average has the President’s approval at 43.2 percent.
The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 2,828 registered voters between Aug. 8 and 11. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.84 percentage points.
