Half of registered voters approve of President Trump’s job performance, the first post-election Hill-HarrisX poll finds.
Fifty percent of respondents in the Nov. 27-30 survey support Trump, a 2-point tick up from the latest survey conducted one week prior to the November election.
Ninety-three percent of voters who said they cast their ballots for Trump approve of his job as president, as do 14 percent of those who voted for President-elect Joe Biden.
The survey found 83 percent of Republican respondents approve of Trump’s job as commander in chief.
By contrast, 81 percent of Democrats and 54 percent of independents disapprove.
The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 2,825 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 1.84 percentage points.
