Poll: 73 percent say Biden administration will do a good job handling coronavirus vaccine distribution

More than seven in 10 voters think the Biden administration will do a good job handling the distribution of the coronavirus vaccines, according to a new poll.

Seventy-three percent of registered voters in the Jan. 21-22 survey said President Biden will do a good job handling vaccine distribution, while only 27 percent of respondents think he will do a bad one.

Ninety-six percent of Democrats and 72 percent of independents think the White House will do well with vaccine distribution.

Fifty-one percent of Republicans say Biden will do a bad job.

According to a recent Hill-HarrisX poll, 69 percent of voters approve of Biden’s handling of the pandemic in the early days of his presidency.

On Tuesday, the Biden administration announced plans to purchase 100 million additional doses of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, aiming for enough to vaccinate 300 million Americans.

Biden said the additional doses are expected to be ready by the summer.

The most recent Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 941 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 3.19 percentage points.
