Poll: Majority satisfied with coronavirus vaccine rollout in their area

Roughly 6 in 10 voters say they are satisfied with the coronavirus vaccine rollout in their area, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Fifty-nine percent of registered voters Feb. 12-15 survey said they are either very or somewhat satisfied with the vaccine distribution in their area.

Forty-one percent of respondents said they are somewhat unsatisfied or not at all satisfied. 

The survey found Democrats most likely to say they are satisfied with the vaccine rollout in their area, at 70 percent. 

Fifty percent of independents and 51 percent of Republicans agree.

Sunday, the U.S. reached another grim milestone when the coronavirus death toll surpassed 500,000.

While daily deaths and cases have slowed, the country continues it’s race to vaccinate as new variants of the virus threaten any progress thus far.

The most recent Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 2,835 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 1.83 percentage points.
