Poll: Biden approval steady at 58 percent

A majority of voters approve of the job Joe Biden is doing as president, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Fifty-eight percent of registered voters in the Feb. 24-26 survey said they approve of President Biden in the White House, a slight dip from 59 percent in last week’s poll. 

By contrast, 42 percent of respondents disapprove of Biden as president.

Ninety-two percent of Democrats and 55 percent of independents support Biden while 75 percent of Republicans disapprove. 

The most recent Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 1,909 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 2.24 percentage points.
