Half of the country says the nation is on the wrong track, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.
In the survey, 50 percent of registered voters said the country is generally on the wrong track while 41 percent said they think that the country is on the right track.
Eight percent of respondents said they are unsure.
The numbers are similar to a May 24-25 survey that found 51 percent of registered voters said the country was on the right track while 41 percent of respondents said the country was on the wrong track and 8 percent were unsure.
The most recent Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 948 registered voters from Sept. 21-22. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.2 percentage points.
