The coronavirus and the economy remain the top issues among voters, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds, though worries about the pandemic are down significantly.
Twenty-nine percent of registered voters said the coronavirus is the most important issue facing the country, and 28 percent said the economy and jobs was their top concern.
In a Sept. 30-Oct. 1 survey, 46 percent of registered voters had said the pandemic is the most important problem for the nation, followed by immigration at 24 percent and the economy at 23 percent.
Republican voters named immigration as their top concern, at 37 percent, while Democrats cited the coronavirus as the most important issue facing the country today, at 39 percent.
The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 2,787 registered voters between Nov. 16-18. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.85 percentage points.
