The Hill’s 12:30 Report: Ryan doesn’t back Trump attacks on judge | Violence at Trump event | Weakest jobs growth in six years | Sanders might skydive into rally (?!) | 67 Dem delegates at stake this weekend | National Doughnut Day!
BREAKING THIS A.M. — LA DEE DAHH, NOT FREAKING OUT ABOUT THE JOBS SITUATION: The economy added just 38,000 jobs in May, its worst performance in six years. Let’s put this into perspective: Economists had forecast around 160,000 jobs would be added in May. What this means: This likely means the Federal Reserve will hold off on raising interest rates until at least July. http://bit.ly/1XVTw3i

Happy Friday! A meteor lit up the skies in Arizona yesterday, which was apparently so loud that 911 received lots of calls from residents thinking they were being burglarized. http://cnn.it/1Y6k82e I’m Cate Martel with a quick recap of what you missed this morning and what’s on tap for the rest of the day. Send comments, story ideas and upcoming events to cmartel@digital-staging.thehill.com, @CateMartel and on Facebook.
GOP LEADERS: “MARRRRCOOOO?!” — RUBIO: *SILENCE*: (polo?) Via The Hill’s Jordain Carney, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is under a lot of pressure to change his mind and run for reelection. It makes sense for the GOP — he’s an able fundraiser and a good bet to keep his Florida seat in the Republican column. But it may not be such an obviously great move for Rubio: He would have to fight other Republicans in the primary and he could be risking his political future on a Senate race that Democrats view as a prime pickup opportunity. Rubio is expected to make another run for the White House a soon as 2020, and a loss in November could undercut any future presidential aspirations. http://bit.ly/1PqJKVJ
INSERT WEEKLY “WELL, THAT TRUMP RALLY ESCALATED QUICKLY” HEADLINE HERE: At a Trump rally in San Jose, Calif., yesterday, a Trump supporter was pelted with eggs, a man was sucker-punched, an American flag was spotted on fire and fights broke out. Normal Thursday night. http://bit.ly/1XocT6K
OH, THAT LITTLE THING??: Trump downplayed it, tweeting: “Rally last night in San Jose was great. Tremendous love and enthusiasm in the hall. Big crowd. Outside, small group of thugs burned Am flag!” http://bit.ly/1TZynTr
BUT BEFORE WE CHALK IT UP TO JUST TRUMP: Secret Service agents rushed to guard Bernie Sanders for the second time this week (!) Who are they: Animal rights protesters. http://bit.ly/1Y6emgW
RELEASED THIS A.M. — RYAN’S AGENDA: Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) previewed the House GOP’s much-anticipated election-year agenda, the first pieces of which will be rolled out next week. So, what is it? Dubbed “A Better Way,” the new agenda lists six policy areas to tackle: poverty, tax reform, national security, healthcare, cutting regulations and restoring constitutional authority. Watch the video: http://bit.ly/1X2IF8K
I LIKE TO MOVE IT, MOVE IT: Via BuzzFeed’s Adrian Carrasquillo, Carlos Sanchez, the chief of staff for Rep. Joaquín Castro (D-Texas), will take a leave of absence to join Hillary Clinton‘s campaign for president. He will serve as deputy political director. Sanchez served as communications director for the Clinton campaign in the Texas primary, where Clinton won over 70 percent of the Latino vote. http://bzfd.it/1RT54NR
TALKED ABOUT ON THE MORNING SHOWS — CLINTON’S SUCKER-PUNCH FOREIGN POLICY SPEECH: Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton opened fire with both barrels on presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump in a speech that was instantly recognized as a big moment in the incipient general election campaign. Most-talked about line: Clinton called Trump “temperamentally unfit” for the presidency. Shots fired. http://bit.ly/22CHkFE
Trump’s Twitter response (as per usual): “Bad performance by Crooked Hillary Clinton! Reading poorly from the telepromter! [sic] She doesn’t even look presidential!” http://bit.ly/1O7AuFC
IN LOCAL NEWS — SAY BUH-BYE TO “NORMAL” METRO SERVICE: Via Popville, beginning today, the Metro will close at midnight every night as it undertakes safety repairs. http://bit.ly/1XosCCY

OH GOD, KIDS THESE DAYS: The Quincy, Mass., police department posted on Facebook, “Every day we answer numerous 911 calls. Often times, these calls are from individuals who are in need of immediate assistance. Sometimes, it’s a simple misdial. Then there’s Robert’s 9-1-1 call.” A 5-year-old called 911 to report his dad for running a red light. Duuuuuuude. http://bzfd.it/1XlwmFk
