And yes, there are jobs posted here, also on and off Capitol Hill. The on-Capitol Hill listings are divided into Democratic and Republican, just in case you want to be sure you are going in the right direction.

“ … a legislative, government, and political staffing service for the Washington DC area.” This staffing firm offers temporary and permanent placement opportunities with Washington’s finest consultants, PR firms, nonprofits and lobbying firms. The firm occasionally works with campaign offices, but it is less likely you’ll see a Capitol Hill listing here than at other sites. All services are free to the job applicant, but you must be located in or near D.C. and have the experience they need.

“A dedicated Lobbying Job Site focused on delivering recruitment assistance and lobbying career opportunities for Federal and State Lobbyists, Lobbying Support Staff, Lobbying Firms, Advocacy and Government Relations Professionals.” Not a lot of jobs here, but they are interesting. You will need to register in order to apply for the positions listed here, but you can review them without registering. There is a city/state location plus contact phone numbers, so they just skipped in under my “must have contact info” requirement.
