Biden gives Ellen DeGeneres WH bathrobe

Vice President Biden says he wants Ellen DeGeneres to be comfortable the next time she watches the State of the Union address, so he’s giving her a bathrobe emblazoned with the White House seal.

The VP presented the talk show host with the present for her 57th birthday during a surprise visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” airing Monday.

“Now, next year when you’re watching, I want you to be comfortable,” Biden said. “I bought you a bathrobe with the White House seal on it — a gift to Ellen from Joe, so you’re comfortable.”

DeGeneres is seen slipping into the plush, white bathrobe after thanking Biden for the presidential swag.

Biden also chatted with the daytime personality about his Valentine’s Day plans with wife, Jill. When DeGeneres asked what the couple had on tap for the romantic occasion, Biden replied with a laugh, “A lot — and I’m not gonna tell you.”

Biden — who traveled to California on Friday for a speech at West Los Angeles College — appeared on DeGeneres’s program to push viewers to sign up for ObamaCare health coverage.

“You’ve been a real booster of the Affordable Care Act,” Biden told DeGeneres. “And, Ellen, you have a lot of moms home listening… And so, I want every mom out there to tell their adult child between the ages of 26 and 35 sign up, for no other reason than give mom peace of mind.”
