CNN will hold a one-hour town hall with House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) ahead of the Republican National Convention next month, the network announced Thursday.
Anchor Jake Tapper will host the town hall in New York City on July 12.
{mosads}During the event, Ryan will take questions from Tapper and audience members.
The Speaker will discuss the state of the Republican Party, the House GOP policy agenda and how he plans to keep the House in GOP control this fall.
Ryan will chair the party’s presidential nominating convention, which starts July 18 in Cleveland.
