Donald Trump on Wednesday morning sought to preempt an attack from Hillary Clinton over his business record in Atlantic City, N.J., saying Democratic politicians were at fault for the city’s downturn.

Trump blamed Democratic politicians in a series of tweets for making “all the wrong moves” ahead of a number of bankruptcies in the seaside resort town.

{mosads}Clinton on Wednesday is expected to deliver a speech attacking Trump’s “fraudulent business dealings” and their effect on Atlantic City, according to a Clinton official.

A small business owner affected by Trump in the city will introduce Clinton, who will speak about Trump’s multiple bankruptcies in front of Boardwalk Hall.

Her campaign also released a video Wednesday saying Trump “made millions while bankrupting his businesses, laying off his workers, and stiffing his contractors.”

A New York Times report last month on Trump’s casino record in the city said he struggled to hold onto his casinos years after the city peaked.
