Protests in Minnesota after police kill man

A man in suburban Minneapolis was fatally shot by a police officer after he was pulled over for a traffic stop, sparking protests.

{mosads}Philando Castile, 32, was driving in Falcon Heights with his girlfriend, Lavisha Reynolds, and her 4-yeard-old daughter, according to reports.

Reynolds took a video of the aftermath of the shooting that showed Castile conscious and bleeding in the driver’s seat and a police officer pointing a gun through his window.

In the video, which went viral, Reynolds said that her boyfriend was reaching for his license when the officer shot him.
