Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) on Sunday blasted presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, saying she doesn’t know how to create jobs.
“She does not understand, really, how jobs are created. She’s not created jobs, manufacturing, hotels and things around the world,” he said on “Fox News Sunday,” contrasting Clinton with presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.
{mosads}Sessions said Trump “clearly has the advantage” on that front.
The Alabama senator also praised Trump’s business record, which Clinton took aim at last week.
“He’s been a highly successful business man, but he’s invested in hundreds of businesses and some of them haven’t been successful but most of them have,” he said.
“Donald Trump is, no doubt about it, he’s a successful business man.”
Sessions said Trump has traveled the world and has invested around the world.
“He’s sophisticated in those ways in a way that Hillary Clinton has no idea on.”
