Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was invited to give a speech on the first night of the Democratic National Convention, a speaking slot that is usually not reserved for vice presidential candidates, The New York Times reported on Tuesday.
{mosads}Still, sources told the Times that the speaking slots are subject to change in the days leading up to the convention.
Hillary Clinton has reportedly not yet decided who she will pick to be her running mate, and the Times’s sources say that the timing of Warren’s convention speech is not an indication of whether she’s still in the running.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is also reportedly considering Sens. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) and Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Labor Secretary Tom Perez, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro and retired Adm. James Stavridis.
