Convention schedule released; Melania Trump to kick off Monday night

Republican National Convention organizers released the event’s final schedule on Sunday evening, with Donald Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort saying the weeklong gathering will be unlike those held in the past.

{mosads}”The plan for the Trump campaign for this convention is to help the American people understand more about Donald Trump the man, not just the candidate they see on the campaign trail,” Manafort said in a news conference Sunday.

“This is a Trump convention,” he said, adding that the presumptive presidential nominee will make several appearances during the convention. 

Plans on who will formally introduce and nominate Trump will be released on Monday, the first day of the convention, he said.

Here is the full schedule: 

Monday: Make America Safe Again 

Melania Trump; Lt. Gen Michael Flynn; Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa); Jason Beardsley, special operations adviser for Concerned Veterans for America; and Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-Mont.) 

Tuesday: Make America Work Again 

Tiffany Trump, general manager of Trump Winery Kerry Woolard, Donald Trump Jr., Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), former White House contender Ben Carson, and Kimberlin Brown of “The Young and the Restless.” 

Wednesday: Make America First Again 

Lynne Patton, vice president of the Eric Trump Foundation; Eric Trump; former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.); vice presidential candidate and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence. 

Thursday: Make America One Again 

PayPal co-founder Peter Theil, real estate investor Tom Barrack, Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump.
