Bin Laden’s son denied entry to Egypt

Omar bin Laden, the son of deceased al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, was denied entry into Egypt on Saturday, according to the Associated Press.

{mosads}Bin Laden and his wife were traveling to Egypt from Qatar. Security officials denied bin Laden entry at Cairo International Airport after seeing he was on a list of banned persons.

Officials told the Associated Press that the two were able to leave the airport to travel to Turkey.

Omar is the author of “Growing up bin Laden,” along with his mother, Osama bin Laden’s first wife, Najwa bin Laden.

Omar bin Laden has written that he trained with al Qaeda as a young child but left the terror group in 2000.

His father, the first leader of al Qaeda, was killed by Navy SEALs in 2011.
