President Trump plans to unveil his strategy for the ongoing war in Afghanistan in a televised address on Monday night from Fort Myer, Va.
Trump’s decision follows months of discussion about the 16-year conflict and comes after a key meeting last week at Camp David with top national security officials.
It is Trump’s first primetime address to the public, barring campaign-style rallies, since his speech to a joint session of Congress in February.
