Supreme Court Associate Justice Elena Kagan is slated to deliver remarks Friday afternoon during a forum hosted by the Notre Dame Law School.
The forum focuses on a different theme each year, with this year’s event focused on the theme “The Future of Democracy.” Kagan will speak with the dean of the university’s law school.
Kagan was nominated to the Supreme Court by former President Obama in 2010. She graduated from Princeton University, Oxford University and Harvard Law School.
The event is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
