President Biden is set to welcome the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House on Friday to celebrate the NFL team’s win in Super Bowl LVIII.
The visit comes after Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker sparked backlash for a commencement speech, during which he told female graduates that they might find more satisfaction being wives and mothers than they would through their careers.
Friday’s event is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m. EDT.
